The Chamber recently decided
to sponsor the Switch and Support Program. Our purpose is to lower Mercer counties electrical and natural gas costs while creating continued financial support for the various Chamber of Commerce Projects. Unknown to most customers, all energy suppliers have been using a portion of each consumer’s monthly bill to pay marketing fees to whoever acquires or maintains customers for them. When you, as a customer participate in the Switch and Support Program, you will: 1. Save on your Electric and Natural Gas costs. 2. Community will benefit from the various Chamber Projects. For every 1 million Kwh used by Switch and Support customers, $600.00 will be redirected back to the Chamber, each year you are a Switch and Support member. For every 10,000 Mcf natural gas used, $300.00 will go to this support as well. Participation in this program requires no membership fees, and it does not add any additional fees to your present utility; actually most will save 20% while many will save substantially more. No one is too small or too large to participate, as Switch and Support has over 30 suppliers participating in the program, allowing SPG members access to energy products that fits every customer’s need. To be eligible to participate, you must currently be purchasing electric from non-coop firms like DP&L. All Dominion East gas customer can participate as well.
