After 20 years of operating an Adult Care Facility, the Gels family thought the Coldwater area needed a place for travelers to stay. In 2014, The Gels Home Bed and Breakfast opened. They provide a unique sense of community within the walls of their home. Each of their 4 rooms has a Lighthouse theme to mimic the serenity of their favorite spot, Big Sable Point Lighthouse where the late Ralph and Janet were lighthouse keepers every summer! The Gels Home has been a Chamber of Commerce member for almost 30 years and has their iconic "Coldwater Buggy"!
